Is it possible to complete an associate degree in nursing online?
Some colleges do offer programs that allow students to complete an associate degree in nursing online. These programs employ a variety of learning strategies that may include some on-campus or clinical site visits by the student. The programs that allow students to complete an associate degree in nursing online usually require that the student have completed some basic in-class nursing requirements. Some degree programs require that the student already have a bachelor of science degree before attending the nursing degree program online. Since nurses are often regulated by the state in which they are employed, make sure the program you select has been accredited and will qualify you to take appropriate licensing exams.
