Mathematics Degrees

Can you complete your graduate math degree online?

If you already have a degree in science or engineering, you may want to consider completing a distance education masters program in mathematics to further your career. Typically, the courses offered are taught by the same instructors that teach the in-class courses while giving students the flexibility of completing the coursework anytime or anywhere that is convenient. Some sample courses for a graduate degree in mathematics online include:

Calculus and Advanced Calculus
Applied Statistics
Differential Equations (Partial and Ordinary)
Linear Algebra
Methods and Numerical Analysis

You may want to check with your employer before applying to one of these programs to see if the courses offered will provide you with the knowledge and skills they want you to have. Many employers will also pay for a continuing education degree, so it's a good idea to consult with your employer prior to applying for the course.
