Degree tips
Legal & Political Science Degrees
How much education do you need to become a paralegal?
Online paralegal degrees can be offered through community colleges or universities. The community college will offer courses leading to an associate’s degree while some universities provide a bachelor’s degree in the field. Which program you choose depends on how long you want to attend school. If you are concerned about finding a job after you graduate, contact some local law firms and ask them what educational qualifications they require when hiring paralegals. It's also a good idea to ensure that the school in which you obtain your online paralegal degree has been accredited by the American Bar Association.
