Are there special guidelines for accreditation?
In most cases, to practice in certain healthcare fields like nursing or radiography, you are required to be certified by the state in which you are employed. To become certified, the state may require that you graduate from a program that has met certain criteria including accreditation by a certain agency. If you are looking at online degree schools to complete your education make sure you are familiar with the rules in your area.
