Working Professional Doctor of Pharmacy

Graduates of the Doctor of Pharmacy program will perform functions consistent with the elements described in the categories for patient care functions and education of health professionals and the public published in the Standards of Practice established by the American Pharmaceutical Association/American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. Pharmacists who complete this program will meet the same terminal performance objectives as students who complete the College’s ‘traditional’ Doctor of Pharmacy program. Graduates will be able to provide a system of drug use evaluation resulting in comprehensive patient services. Doctor of Pharmacy degree graduates will enhance their ability to successfully adapt to the changing health care delivery system.
